Visual storytelling, particularly in video, is another key criterion. Content creator Khoai Lang Thang (real name: Dinh Vo Hoai Phuong) is a familiar face to the public through his videos exploring Vietnamese culture, tourism, and cuisine. His YouTube channel has millions of subscribers thanks to his approachable, natural style, and emphasis on authenticity and inspiration. Khoai Lang Thang will evaluate submissions based on content structure, emotional connection with viewers, and potential for online reach. With experience producing hundreds of videos about his journeys throughout Vietnam, he is well-versed in the daily lives of Vietnamese people in various regions, from urban to rural areas, from mountains to islands. "I hope that with my experience, I can discover the valuable details in the storytelling of the submissions," he said.

The three judges share a common goal: to find submissions that are not only visually appealing but also have depth and touch upon Vietnamese identity. Submissions can depict a daily story, a simple moment, or a unique cultural feature.
Competition Rules and Submission Requirements:
VnExpress launched the "Vietnam Vibes" competition for all Vietnamese people at home and abroad, as well as international friends, with the desire to revisit Vietnam's journey through individual perspectives. Each photo and short film submitted is a piece of the mosaic depicting 80 years of history and the enduring patriotism of the Vietnamese people.
Vietnam Vibes includes two categories: photos and videos. Photo submissions must be in digital format (PNG or JPG), with a minimum short side of 3,000 pixels, a file size of at least 2MB, and no cropping, additions, or distortions. Photos should not have borders, text, names, or place names added. Each submission must include a complete caption.
Video submissions should be in portrait orientation, under 90 seconds in length, in MP4 format, with a minimum quality of Full HD, and a file size not exceeding 200MB. Videos can be shot with any device, as long as they meet the technical standards. Content must be clear, relevant to the theme, and owned by the submitter. Videos that copy or illegally use images or sounds from other sources will be disqualified. If people appear in the video, consent must be obtained from them or their legal guardians.
Each participant can submit a maximum of one entry per category. Author names should match official identification documents, and submissions should not contain advertising. Content can showcase the beauty of the country, its people, cultural values, and nature, reflecting Vietnam's development achievements during its period of renovation and integration. The inclusion of the Vietnamese national flag is encouraged.
Submissions must not violate any laws, be contrary to cultural norms, and must comply with the competition rules.
