Ailani participated in a rehearsal for model Xuan Lan's Destination Runway Fashion Week on 15/8. The little girl captivated everyone with her confident stride and charming face. On social media forums, the audience commented, "An angelic face," and "A future Miss [Universe/World] right here".

Phuong Vy expressed her joy at Ailani's confidence in front of a crowd and the audience's affection for her. She enrolled her daughter in catwalk lessons with Cindy Thai Tai to improve her posture. Previously, Ailani studied martial arts, which resulted in a less graceful gait.

According to Phuong Vy, Ailani has a lively personality and enjoys sports, drawing, playing musical instruments, and singing. She has provided opportunities for her daughter to pursue these interests since she was 5. Ailani is also passionate about science, so her father set up a dedicated channel for her to connect and learn from scientists both domestically and internationally.

The singer and her husband agree on teaching their daughter fundamental values like humility, kindness, refined manners, and traditional feminine beauty. They also encourage her to explore freely, express her opinions, and cultivate independent thinking and action.

Phuong Vy said, "Being raised in two cultures is a great gift for Ailani. I hope she grows up with an open heart, proud of her roots, and appreciative of the beautiful things in life". To ensure Ailani speaks Vietnamese, Phuong Vy enrolled her in a public school instead of an international one. The couple also frequently takes her on outings and to cooking and communication workshops to help her become more confident and develop a broad mindset.

For Phuong Vy, communication is key to nurturing the parent-child relationship. She listens to and talks with Ailani every day, helping her feel respected and understood. The singer always reminds her daughter that in addition to talent, she must also be compassionate. At home, Phuong Vy teaches Ailani small things like sharing and being considerate of others. "I believe that when a child has a kind heart, their life will be happier and more meaningful," Phuong Vy shared.

Phuong Vy, 38, was the winner of Vietnam Idol 2007. After the competition, she joined musician Duc Tri's company and released popular songs such as "Luc moi yeu", "Co doi lan", and "Gian anh". In 3/2015, she married Sean Trace, an American. In 2023, she gained attention for participating in the show "Chi dep dap gio". Currently, the singer works independently and lives with her husband and child in TP HCM.
