The 39-year-old Eunhyuk has diligently researched the show's format and content. He praised the show's goal of recruiting and training an international female cheerleading group, with training taking place in both Taiwan and South Korea.

He noted that the initial phase will see successful applicants from the preliminary round training at Def Dance Skool in Seoul, which has trained K-Pop idols such as (G)I-DLE and Le Sserafim. The training will cover dance, vocals, physical fitness, and stage presence.
"Having lived with a local family in Taiwan and participated in various activities there, I've experienced the genuine affection and support of the Taiwanese audience. Therefore, I readily accepted the offer to join this program," he said, expressing his belief in Taiwan's young talent. "I'm eager to witness their brilliance, and I'll fully support and accompany them on this journey."
Eunhyuk, whose real name is Lee Hyuk Jae, stands at 1.76 m tall and debuted with Super Junior in 2005. Known as the group's main dancer, rapper, and MC, he has appeared on numerous variety shows like "Strong Heart" and "Weekly Idol." He has also directed concerts and worked as a dance trainer.

A Videoland Inc. representative, B2, stated that their team has been traveling between Taiwan and South Korea to scout locations and develop a collaborative roadmap. "The biggest challenge is integrating the teaching resources of both sides. However, we believe this show will open up extensive cooperation opportunities between artists from both countries, while providing contestants with access to professional K-Pop training," he said.
The first "Universal Cheerleaders Audition Day" will take place in Taiwan: on 19/7 in Taipei and 20/7 in Kaohsiung. Registration information and audition details will be updated on the official Instagram and Facebook fan pages.
The show is scheduled to air on Vee Sports and Vee Variety. The production team stated: "With the substantial investment from Videoland Inc., in collaboration with Sky Entertainment and Korean partners, 'Universal Cheerleaders' is expected to be a breakthrough in entertainment shows and a launchpad for Taiwan's first international female cheerleading group."
