The couple appeared together at their daughter Ky Ky's first birthday party at a restaurant on the evening of 1/7. Thanh Truc and Chau Khai Phong have been together for many years and officially registered their marriage in early 2023, but kept it private. The actress shared that while she was pregnant, despite his busy work schedule and inability to always be by her side, Phong consistently checked in on her. Whenever he was home, he would cook simple meals and massage her hands and feet.
"He's not the romantic type, he's practical and works hard to provide for our family. That's enough to make me happy," she said.
At the party, Thanh Truc was touched by the well wishes from friends like actress Nhat Kim Anh and designer Minh Chau. "This time last year, I was anxious because my baby didn't want to leave my belly yet, and today, I'm holding her in my arms," the actress said. She had previously struggled with polycystic ovary syndrome, making natural conception difficult, and underwent in vitro fertilization (IVF). After four unsuccessful attempts, the fifth embryo transfer was successful.

Born in 1986, Thanh Truc is a familiar face on television, known for her roles in dramas like Mua thuy tinh, Huong nghiep, Song doi, Mong phu du, Hoa dai, Tinh an, Chuyen tinh mua thu, Giac mo bien, and Trai dang. In 2009, she won the Mai Vang award for "Most Favorite Actress." In 2010, she was in the top 3 of the HTV Awards. She also participated in the Tinh Bolero competition in 2017 and reached the top 3. Before becoming an actress, she started singing at the age of 15. Truc formed the music groups Pha Le and GPI and sang as a duo with Minh Hang for a period.
Chau Khai Phong, whose real name is Le Van Thuan, was also born in 1986 and hails from Nghe An. He won first prize in the National Student Singing Contest in 2004 and second prize in the Sao Mai Central Region competition in 2007. He has several popular songs, including Bua toi mot minh, Chi yeu minh em, Noi dau minh em (with Trinh Dinh Quang), and Ben nhau that kho (with Khang Viet). In 2018, he gained wider recognition with the song Ngam hoa le roi (composed by Duy Cuong).
