Princess of Wales Kate Middleton hosted the 5th annual "Together At Christmas" carol concert at Westminster Abbey on 5/12. This event, which she initiated in 2021, aims to connect the community during the pandemic and mark the start of the year-end festive season. Westminster Abbey holds significance as the venue for her 2011 wedding to Prince William.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, accompanied by their three children—Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis—chose coordinated blue attire for the occasion. Princess Kate wore a coat by designer Catherine Walker, paired with high-heeled boots. Her accessories included star-shaped gold earrings by Robinson Pelham, which Kate previously wore at the "Top Gun: Maverick" premiere in 2022.

According to People, the Princess arrived early to greet the 1,600 guests, volunteers, and performers. This year's program, themed "Love in all its forms", featured many royal family members and famous artists such as Kate Winslet, Dan Smith, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Singer Zak Abel performed "Silent Night", stepping in for actress Hannah Waddingham, who withdrew due to health issues.
In her invitation letter, the Princess stated that there are times when life becomes uncertain, but the Christmas season is an opportunity to remember the power of connection, mutual understanding, and enduring hope. She wrote, "The spirit of Christmas comes from simple, humane things. Not through grand actions but through gentle gestures."

The program included a tribute to Princess Katharine, Duchess of Kent, wife of Duke Edward, who passed away in September. As guests entered the Abbey, music performed by young artists from Future Talent—an organization she co-founded to support musically gifted children from low-income families—resonated, honoring her passion for music.
This event was held two days after the Princess attended a state reception for German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier at Windsor Castle on the evening of 3/12, during his visit to England. At the state banquet, the Princess appeared wearing the Oriental Circlet tiara, once owned by Queen Victoria, marking the 5th time she has worn a tiara at royal events.
Media outlets suggest Princess Kate is gradually resuming royal duties after her cancer diagnosis in March 2024. Since then, she has made only a few public appearances during her treatment. By September 2024, she completed her chemotherapy regimen and stated that her health had significantly improved since January this year.
