The phrase "The 55-year-old most beautiful Guo Xiang on screen" quickly became a trending topic on Weibo. Tens of thousands of fans said they hardly recognized Lee, who has been away from the entertainment industry for over 10 years. Many commented that despite showing signs of aging, she looked healthy and happy.
Fans wrote comments such as, "It's good to accept aging gracefully", "She was beautiful, famous, and praised for her beauty. Time passes, and this is just a new stage of life. Confidence and self-love are key", and "This is a person's normal appearance. I prefer natural photos to heavily edited ones that look nothing like the real person".
Lee told HK01 that she has never considered plastic surgery. She views wrinkles as gifts of time and embraces them.
