Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, 19, is among the youngest contestants. She is 1.75 m tall, weighs 51 kg, and has measurements of 78-59-91 cm. She was the runner-up in the National Elegant Student contest in 2024.

She is currently a student at the National Economics University in Hanoi. She participates in many extracurricular activities and serves as the class secretary. In high school, Thu Hang was an honor student for three years.

She says she has dreamed of competing in beauty pageants since childhood and aims to be in the top 3 of Miss Vietnam this year.

She admires Do Thi Ha, Miss Vietnam 2020, who is also from Thanh Hoa and a senior at the National Economics University.

She hopes to showcase the culture and cuisine of her hometown at the competition.

Phung Thi Huong Giang, 21, is an international business student at Greenwich University in Hanoi.

During the anthropometric measurements, the judges praised her cute face with dimples and her straight legs.

She is a freelance model and competed in Miss World Vietnam 2023 but did not achieve a high ranking.

She wants to promote her charitable projects at the competition. She has participated in several trips to visit and teach children in the highlands of Ha Giang.

Thu Hang and Huong Giang, along with 23 other contestants, will compete in the Miss Vietnam final on 27/6 in Hue. The event was originally scheduled for 14/6 but was postponed due to storms.

The 19th season of the competition started in late 2024 and has gone through preliminary and semi-final rounds. The reigning Miss Vietnam, Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy, will crown her successor at the final night.

The Miss Vietnam pageant was initiated by Tien Phong Newspaper and first held in 1988 as Miss Tien Phong Newspaper. The first winner was Bui Bich Phuong from Hanoi.
