The singer, born in the 1980s, revealed that she has experienced several relationships, but none lasted due to incompatibility in thoughts, personality, and life goals. She considers herself "unlucky in love." Currently, she finds it difficult to open her heart after several emotional upheavals. She poured her heart into this new project, wanting to show that she has moved on from past relationships, viewing them as beautiful memories.

Van Mai Huong returns to the music scene after a two-year hiatus. "Uot Long" (Wet Heart) is one of the songs from her upcoming album. Composed by Hua Kim Tuyen, the song blends bolero and pop genres, inspired by her past heartbreak. The music video, filmed at Palace 3 in Da Lat (Lam Dong), features classic visuals. The singer and photographer Thien Minh portray a couple enjoying romantic moments together.
The singer shared that she is now focusing less on technical singing and more on storytelling. "I used to borrow material and emotions from Hua Kim Tuyen's relationships for my songs. Now, I find it exciting to express my own stories," Van Mai Huong stated. She also participated in lyric writing, music editing, and arranging alongside the production team.
