Coinciding with the opening of its flagship store in Shanghai, China, in early August, the 50-year-old American travel, lifestyle, and accessories brand Tumi announced Chinese actor Wei Daxun as its new brand ambassador for the Asia-Pacific region.
"Both events are important milestones in the brand's expansion and commitment to global travelers," the announcement stated.

Wei Daxun is a versatile artist, appearing in numerous films, television shows, music programs, and reality shows, and is also known for his philanthropic work. Tumi values his professionalism, discipline, and pursuit of excellence.
"The actor naturally embodies the values that have shaped us for 50 years: precision, innovation, and a forward-thinking spirit," a brand representative said.
Wei Daxun will feature in the third and final chapter of Tumi's "Uncompromisingly Light" 19 Degree Lite campaign – a celebration of innovation and freedom of movement, seen through the eyes of those constantly on the go. In the latest photos and videos, director David Pun and photographer GK capture the tranquility of Wei Daxun's lifestyle as he moves seamlessly between cities, blending scenes with fleeting moments.
On this journey, the actor has several companions suited to his rhythm. The 19 Degree Lite suitcase helps him adapt to any situation, while the Alpha Bravo Navigation backpack provides essential functions for the avid traveler. Through these visuals, Wei Daxun emphasizes that home isn't a place, but a feeling. With consistency in what he carries, he finds the space to move confidently and easily, wherever he goes.
Creative Director Victor Sanz remarked that Wei Daxun brings a fresh energy that aligns with the brand's values. "He is a true reflection of the modern global traveler: purposeful, dynamic, and always in motion," he said.

Prior to Wei Daxun, the brand announced regional ambassadors from various fields, including racing driver Lando Norris (McLaren Formula 1 team), and golfers Nelly Korda (LPGA Tour) and Ludvig Åberg (PGA Tour).
