Directed by Matt Shakman, "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" kicks off Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Set in 1960s New York City, the film revolves around four scientists: Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn), and Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). During a space expedition, they are exposed to cosmic radiation. Upon their return to Earth, they become superheroes, transforming into pop culture icons. They must confront the planet-eating entity Galactus (Ralph Ineson) to save Earth from destruction.
