Pork liver is a common and nutritious food, rich in iron, zinc, vitamins, and protein. While many people believe liver stores toxins, it is primarily an organ that metabolizes and eliminates them, not a storage site. However, if a pig is diseased or raised in unsafe conditions, its liver might contain antibiotic residues or heavy metals.
Despite its nutritional value, pork liver contains a relatively high amount of cholesterol, making it unsuitable for daily consumption. A healthy adult should limit liver intake to one to two times per week. Liver should be considered a supportive food, not a treatment or a miracle cure for medical conditions. Individuals experiencing premature ejaculation or erectile dysfunction cannot expect to resolve their issues or rapidly boost libido simply by eating liver.
For men showing signs of sexual weakness due to metabolic diseases such as high blood fat or diabetes, pork liver is not the preferred choice. To improve overall health, it is safer to prioritize shellfish like oysters and shrimp, or various nuts.
When purchasing liver, ensure it is clean and free of unusual odors. A healthy liver should be firm and elastic when pressed. To remove any lingering smell, soak the liver in unsweetened fresh milk for approximately 20 minutes before cooking. It is crucial to never consume undercooked or rare liver.
To genuinely enhance health, men should engage in regular exercise, limit alcohol consumption, and maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. These practices help increase testosterone levels and improve performance. If issues like erectile dysfunction or premature ejaculation persist, it is advisable to seek medical examination and treatment.
