The "golden week - nurturing happiness" program, themed "winged dreams of parenthood," officially commenced on 15/6 at Hanoi Andrology and Infertility Hospital. The program runs until 28/6.
Le Thi Lan Anh, 37, from Thanh Hoa, arrived early for her check-up. She has undergone more than 7 years of infertility treatment. After three unsuccessful embryo transfers, she and her husband had to pause treatment for nearly one year to stabilize their finances.
"Treatment costs made my husband and me reconsider many times," she shared. "When I learned the hospital was continuing the golden week, I decided to return for an examination and submit an application for 100% in vitro fertilization cost support. At least I still have a chance to try again."

The "golden week 2026" continues to approve free treatment for cases including: 10 cases of 100% free in vitro fertilization for disadvantaged families, 10 cases of micro-testicular sperm extraction (microTESE), and 20 cases of embryo screening for genetic diseases (a maximum of 10 embryos per patient).
According to Master of science doctor Le Thi Thu Hien, professional director of Hanoi Andrology and Infertility Hospital, treatment costs remain a substantial burden for many infertile families, particularly with prolonged treatment or multiple in vitro fertilization cycles. Many couples are psychologically ready but must postpone their journey to parenthood due to financial pressure. Therefore, in addition to free consultations, the golden week offers 100% free support packages to help patients reduce cost burdens and access treatment at the most opportune time.
"Every year, we meet families who received support from the hospital and now bring their children to visit the doctors," doctor Hien stated. "That is the motivation for the program to be maintained and expanded over many years, with the desire to bring more opportunities for parenthood to more families."

Beyond infertile families, this year's program also sees many young couples proactively checking their reproductive health early to prepare for future family planning.
Tran Duc Manh, 28, from Bac Ninh, stated that he and his wife have been married for almost one year but are postponing their plans for children to achieve financial stability first. After researching reproductive health information on social media, he and his wife decided to register for examinations during this event to proactively check their health and save on initial costs.
"My wife and I are young, so we previously thought we did not need early check-ups," he said. "But after learning more, I realized many reproductive health issues are quite common now. The program offers many free items, so we decided to get checked for greater peace of mind and to alleviate initial cost pressure."
According to a hospital representative, the increased interest of young people in reproductive health is a positive sign, given the rising and younger trend of infertility rates.

During the program, clients visiting the hospital for examinations receive many free items, including: consultations; ovarian follicle ultrasound, testicular Doppler; semen analysis, AMH testing; and hysterosalpingography. Additionally, the hospital offers a 20% discount on paraclinical test costs (excluding specialized tests) and a 5 million VND in vitro fertilization support voucher.
Furthermore, the program's closing ceremony and the 14th anniversary of the Assisted Reproductive Technology department are scheduled for 28/6. As part of the event, the hospital will award 36 treatment support packages through a lucky draw for clients physically present.
