In a world saturated with complex diet trends and strict eating habits, Ritm revealed a very simple approach to health.
On Instagram on 4/6, she shared her transformation journey, detailing how she lost 26 kg by combining traditional local dishes (desi food) with regular resistance training.
"I eat three identical meals every day and have lost 26 kg doing that", Ritm wrote in her video caption.
For her, the key to weight loss was not giving up core dishes from her homeland, but rather adopting a repetitive, precisely predictable diet to eliminate the pressure of daily meal planning.
In the video, Ritm broke down her fixed daily menu, explaining how each meal served a specific purpose in her training regimen. She started her mornings by prioritizing nutrition from the outset.
Breakfast: She prioritized one protein-rich breakfast. "This helps me ensure my protein intake for the entire day even before I leave the house", Ritm said.
Lunch: She moved to a basic combination of protein, carbohydrates, and green vegetables to sustain energy throughout the afternoon.
Dinner: Her evening meal offered the comfort of traditional Indian cuisine, completely debunking the common misconception that one must eliminate carbohydrate sources to effectively lose fat.
Despite the strict structure of her main meals, Ritm shared that a sustainable diet must allow for flexibility and enjoyment. To maintain mental well-being and stay on track long-term, she ended each evening with one sweet treat. "And every night, one piece of dark chocolate", she revealed.
For Ritm, incorporating this small indulgence into her daily menu was crucial to prevent burnout and discouragement. She noted: "Because if the fat loss process makes you feel miserable, it won't last".
Ritm's transformation journey was not an overnight success story, but the result of long-term commitment. She revealed that she maintained this exact diet along with resistance exercises "every day for two years".
She challenged the notion that a successful fitness journey requires constant innovation in the kitchen. "You don't need variety. You need discipline (consistency). That's the whole secret", Ritm concluded.
