Science Elite launches model connecting doctors and brands

Science Elite combines scientific information, social influence, and commercial effectiveness to connect brands and experts with consumers in the beauty industry.

Science Elite, a new platform aiming to bridge the gap between medical expertise and the beauty industry, officially launched on 26/3 in TP HCM. The event gathered over 50 experts, dermatologists, and prominent beauty influencers, alongside representatives from leading cosmetic brands. This initiative seeks to redefine how dermatological science is communicated, fostering responsible, impactful, and transformative content for consumers.

The launch comes amidst a significant shift in consumer behavior within the beauty sector. Data from Milieu Insight reveals that 66% of Southeast Asian users are increasingly skeptical of social media influencer content, prompting them to actively seek scientific knowledge and reliable consultation. In Vietnam, Ken Research indicates that 70% of users are proactively searching for science-backed skincare products, driven by their trust in the academic knowledge of dermatologists. Buzzmetrics further highlights this trend, recording over 61 million discussions about skincare in Vietnam, underscoring a clear move towards science-based approaches and professional advice.

Mr. Quan Ngoc, Chief Executive Officer of Science Elite, explained that the platform was established to provide an expertly operated ecosystem where science leads the process of creating influence and commercial value. Science Elite was co-founded by Social Elite, a company specializing in social commerce, and Doctor Bich Na, a dermatologist and medical expert. Mr. Ngoc emphasized that Science Elite not only helps brands communicate more effectively but also helps them build trust within the beauty industry.

Doctor Bich Na, Medical Director of Science Elite, affirmed the platform's commitment to bringing science out of its specialized scope and integrating it directly into communication and influence. Science Elite aims to gather a network of over 100 doctors and experts from hospitals, research institutes, universities, and clinics nationwide. These professionals are dedicated to principles of transparency, scientific evidence, and positive communication when sharing information with consumers. "We aim to build a generation of doctors who can both maintain their expertise and create a positive impact on the community", Ms. Na stated.

Science Elite also offers a comprehensive service model, which includes: connecting a network of senior dermatologists with brands, conveying scientific content accessibly, collaborating with brands from product research and development, becoming a commercial transformation partner, and building a consumer community with a comprehensive data system. These services are currently being utilized by domestic and international corporations and many partners.

Social Elite, established in 2022, is a social commerce model that operates a network of nearly 2,000 influencers and 5,000 digital creators. It boasts a system of over 50 livestream studios and 3,000 square meters of high-end studio space. The company has successfully implemented thousands of digital media campaigns and highly effective content commercialization across multiple platforms: TikTok, Shopee, Facebook, and YouTube.
