Truong Giang and vietnamese stars energize cho ray hospital's flower street

The hospital campus transformed into a special stage where Truong Giang and nearly 40 artists brought a vibrant, warm spring atmosphere to hundreds of patients and medical staff at the opening ceremony of Cho Ray Hospital's spring flower street.

The Cho Ray Hospital campus, usually bustling with ambulances and the worries of illness, transformed on the morning of 6/2 into a colorful stage featuring 39 artists—a record number to date. This marks the 6th consecutive year the hospital has organized a spring flower street within its grounds for the Lunar New Year.

As the program host, artist Truong Giang (center) was visibly moved by the enthusiastic response from his colleagues. The lineup included seasoned performers and young stars from popular reality shows like "Anh trai say hi", "Anh trai vuot ngan chong gai", "2 ngay mot dem", along with beauty queens and actors.

The artist humorously recounted a behind-the-scenes moment when he sent invitations from the hospital to his colleagues, quipping, "Oh my, you even get an invitation to go to the hospital?"

Singer Ngo Kien Huy energized the atmosphere with his hit "Truyen thai y", accompanied by spontaneous and passionate backing from medical staff and guest artists. These included Tien Luat, Kieu Minh Tuan, Lien Binh Phat, Gin Tuan Kiet, Cris Phan, Thuy Ngan, Truong The Vinh, Kha Nhu, and Song Luan.

Singer S.T Son Thach joined the audience on stage, inviting them to sing along to "Bong Bong Bang Bang", a song he performed with singer Jun Pham, further boosting the lively mood.

Singer Bao Anh heated up the atmosphere at the opening ceremony of Cho Ray Hospital's 2026 spring flower street, performing her hit "Nhu loi don" and bringing joy and positive energy to the many medical staff and patients present at the event.

Many medical staff, patients, and their relatives eagerly participated, cheering enthusiastically for the musical performances. This created a warm and shared festive atmosphere within the hospital.

Doctor Pham Thanh Viet, Deputy Director in charge of operations at Cho Ray Hospital, stated that as a tertiary hospital, it admits very severe and complex cases. Tet is a time for family reunions, but many patients cannot return home, and their relatives must stay to care for them amidst anxiety.

"The flower street, folk games, and the artists' songs are a spiritual medicine, helping to alleviate the pain and worries of patients and the hardships of medical staff", doctor Viet expressed.

The artists also personally handed gifts to patients receiving treatment at Cho Ray Hospital. This activity followed the successful "Am Ap Tinh Xuan" (Warm Spring Love) charity concert, organized by medical staff previously, which raised over 800 million dong to support and share with disadvantaged patients.

Additionally, the hospital planned to arrange vehicles to transport discharged patients home for Tet in the days leading up to the holiday, and prepared Tet gifts for those who had to remain.

The 2026 spring flower street at Cho Ray Hospital is considered more professional and larger in scale than previous years, featuring 15 large miniature clusters created through the collaboration of over 70 departments. Drawing inspiration from the horse zodiac animal (Binh Ngo year) and the digital age, medical staff skillfully integrated technological elements into the decorations, creating modern "check-in" spots that retained a rich Tet identity.

The flower street atmosphere was made warmer and livelier with charity stalls and a variety of folk game areas.

Attending and celebrating with the doctors and patients, Vice Minister of Health Nguyen Tri Thuc (in the pink ao dai, center) expressed appreciation for the hospital's efforts and the artists' generosity in creating such a warm and happy atmosphere today. "I wish everyone a peaceful and ever-developing new year", he said.

Temporarily setting aside the pressures of their profession, Cho Ray Hospital's medical staff radiated joy, posing beside the elaborately decorated miniature displays.

Amidst the lively music, in the photo area prepared for patients with complimentary ao dai and makeup, Ms. Lai, 47 years old, from Vinh Long, carefully adjusted the ao dai for her 71-year-old mother, who was in a wheelchair. Her mother had been receiving treatment in the Hematology Department for many months.

"We don't get a chance to take photos at home. Seeing how beautiful the flower street is, my mother and I wanted to capture this as a memory", Ms. Lai shared.
