On 16/9, Ho Chi Minh City Police worked with Huynh Thien Bao and 20 other youths to clarify their acts of disturbing public order.

Video recorded by the group shows them lining up abreast for speed contests, creating thick smoke on the road.

According to initial investigation, on 1-2/9, the group communicated via a private Facebook group, arranging to gather in Vung Tau for street speed contests. Bao is accused of renting a villa, a 16-seat vehicle, and a truck to transport the individuals and their modified vehicles to Vung Tau.

On the afternoon of 2/9, the entire group rode their bikes from the villa onto Vung Tau's coastal roads and crowded residential areas. Police stated they swerved, weaved, performed wheelies, lined up abreast for speed contests, and created thick smoke on the road. The group filmed these acts and posted them on social media to attract views.

Following verification, police summoned 21 youths and seized 9 electric motorcycles that had been structurally altered and modified for increased speed.

Ho Chi Minh City Police are coordinating with People's Procuracy Region 11 - Ho Chi Minh City to clarify the actions and roles of each individual for appropriate handling.
