Tran Minh Hieu, 38, has been identified as the suspect in the fatal stabbing of a 29-year-old woman and the injury of a 31-year-old man at a boarding house in Gia Lai province. The incident occurred around 8 PM on 3/10, on Le Loi street, Phu Xuan village, Tay Son commune. According to initial reports, Hieu, residing in Kien My village, Tay Son commune, went to the victim's boarding house after a drinking session. There, he encountered the 31-year-old man, which led to an argument. Hieu then left, retrieved a knife from his home, and returned to attack the two individuals.

The woman died en route to the hospital, while the man sustained injuries. Hieu later surrendered to Tay Son Commune Police.

Gia Lai Provincial Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
