On 27/11, Hai Phong City Police announced that the Criminal Police Department had decided to prosecute Pham Hai Anh for involuntary manslaughter.

Earlier, on 19/6, the Criminal Police Department received a report that a two-year-old child had died at Hai Anh's home under unclear circumstances.

The investigation determined that the child's mother had entrusted Hai Anh with childcare, along with two other children. Due to Hai Anh's inadequate supervision, the two-year-old child independently consumed a cleaning solution, leading to the death.

The city police issued a warning, urging the public and childcare facilities to enhance their awareness of child management and supervision. They specifically advised preventing children from accessing chemicals, cleaning solutions, or dangerous objects. Families entrusting their children to care should select safe facilities that ensure strict supervision to prevent tragic incidents.
