Two individuals are under investigation for robbery after they allegedly attacked and robbed a taxi driver in Hung Yen province. The incident occurred late on the night of 25/7, when driver Le Hoang Anh, 26, was transporting Nguyen Van Tinh, 23, and Nguyen Van Quyet, 17.

The journey began in Ke Sat commune, Hai Phong city, heading towards Hung Yen. As they reached a secluded stretch of road passing through a field in Do Xuyen hamlet, An Thi commune, the passengers attacked the driver. They used a phone charger to strangle him and a pair of scissors to threaten him, stealing two phones and two million dong in cash.

Following the report, An Thi Commune Police immediately launched an overnight manhunt, deploying forces across key transportation routes. At 0:40 on 26/7, Tinh was apprehended on DT376 road, specifically the section through Quang Vinh hamlet, An Thi commune. Quyet was arrested the following afternoon.

Both suspects are currently under investigation for robbery.
