The interaction program will take place over five nights, from 29/7 to 2/8, at Bien Dong Park. According to the organizing committee, the activity is designed with an open spirit, aiming to connect with the public and strengthen ties between the police force and residents.
At a press conference on the afternoon of 28/7, Major General Le Hong Hiep, Deputy Director of the Department of Political Work (Ministry of Public Security), stated that the sports festival schedule has been widely publicized through media, billboards, and posters for easy access by residents and tourists.
The organizing committee prepared 4,000 grandstand seats for opening ceremony spectators. Thousands of performing officers and soldiers will stand below, yielding their places. Performers will only occupy seats if the grandstand has vacancies.
After each rehearsal and performance, the cavalry, military band, and special motorcycle formations will not immediately leave but will stay to interact with the public. The cavalry force will also move across Dragon Bridge to Bien Dong Park for photo opportunities.
"Residents and foreign tourists will be invited to try riding cavalry horses or sit on 1,800 cc motorcycles operated by female traffic police officers from Ho Chi Minh City", Major General Le Hong Hiep said.
