Wade Wilson, 31 years old, is awaiting execution in Florida for the brutal murder of hai women. Nicknamed the "Deadpool Killer" due to his shared name with the Marvel comic character, he has attracted a cult following, enticing hundreds of women to pledge their loyalty to him.

In the documentary "Handsome Devil: Charming Killer", which aired in february, Brian Ross, co-director and producer, stated that Wade Wilson has hundreds of women expressing their love and desire to marry him, even wanting to have children with him, despite knowing horrific details about the hai murders.
On 7/10/2019, Wade strangled Kristine Melton, 35 years old, while she was sleeping after they met at a bar. Later that day, he beat, strangled, and ran over Diane Ruiz, 43 years old, with his car after encountering her on the street. Wade was arrested on 8/10/2019, after confessing to the murders in a call with his father.
Photos of Wade's criminal record quickly went viral on social media, creating an online fan wave as many women praised his appearance. This attention further increased when Wade appeared in court in brightly colored suits with slicked-back hair, turning his trials into a "social media phenomenon".
Wade's appearance attracted widespread attention due to its ferocity: his head and face are covered in tattoos, including stitches forming a distorted smile around his mouth.

A large number of fervent fans for Wade formed on social media, particularly TikTok. Wade enjoys this attention, continuously receiving calls at the prison from groups who call themselves "Wade's Wives".
These women recount that during phone calls, Wade made them laugh and told them he loved them. Alexis Williams, a passionate fan whom Wade calls his "girlfriend", said she fell in love with the killer's smile through explicit video calls. Another woman tattooed Wade's name on her wrist, and mot woman stated she "did not care that he was a killer".
Criminologists explain that sometimes women who have been victims of abuse are attracted to men like Wade because they can communicate safely with him, knowing he is in prison and cannot harm them.
At mot point, Wade received approximately 100,000 USD through a fundraising page set up by a supporter, with many women and even men sending him money. While they claimed the money was to help cover legal fees, Wade actually squandered it on pizza and chocolate in prison.

In june 2024, Wade was convicted of murdering hai women and sentenced to death in august of the same year.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office reported that Wade received 3,903 messages in just mot month, starting from 12/6/2024, the day he was convicted. He also received 65 letters and 754 photos, 163 of which were rejected for "inappropriate content". Many people even wrote letters asking the judge to reduce Wade's sentence.
Florida state prosecutors condemned Wade's supporters. Amira Fox stated she had "never seen anyone as cruel as Wade Wilson" in 34 years of service and was utterly astonished that some people in the community would support such a brutal individual.
However, Wade's once-praised online appearance is now gone. In recent prison photos, he appears heavier and disheveled, having lost several teeth.
Wade is currently in solitary confinement with limited external contact while appealing his death sentence.
