On 3/2, the Ministry of Public Security announced that its Security Investigation Agency had arrested and charged Bui Van Tuong, 39, a freelance worker residing in Hanoi, with using fake seals and documents of agencies and organizations.

Initial investigations revealed that Tuong used fake Public Security certificates, claiming to be a deputy head of department at the Security Investigation Department, Ministry of Public Security.

Tuong also used a name badge displaying "Bui Van Tuong" with Public Security badge number 636-588 and a Party Member Card number 19.080285. To gain trust and commit illegal acts, he wore police uniforms with the ranks of major and lieutenant colonel.

To aid the investigation, authorities are urging anyone with information regarding this case and Tuong's illegal activities to contact the police.
