Man arrested after ramming car into rivals

Vo Ngoc Hoang, 25, is being investigated for murder after allegedly driving his car into two rivals following an argument at a pub, injuring them and two employees.

Vo Ngoc Hoang, 25, has been arrested and temporarily detained for 4 months on murder charges by the Quang Tri Provincial Police Investigation Agency. The arrest on 11/12 follows an incident four days earlier where Hoang allegedly drove his car into a group of people at a pub in Nam Dong Ha ward, injuring four individuals, including two rivals and two employees.

According to the investigation, the incident began around 8:30 p.m. on 7/12, when Hoang and his friends were at a pub on Le Hong Phong street, Nam Dong Ha ward. An argument erupted between Hoang and two men seated at another table, after which the two men left the establishment.

Near 11 p.m., Hoang called his brother to bring a 5-seater car to pick him up. As Hoang took the driver's seat, he observed the two men he had argued with earlier returning to the pub, reportedly carrying knives and shouting threats. As the two individuals entered the pub, seemingly to confront Hoang, he reversed the car, turning its front towards the entrance.

Upon seeing his two rivals standing on the sidewalk with employees, Hoang intentionally drove the car directly into them. The impact injured 4 people, who required emergency hospitalization, and caused the car to overturn on the sidewalk.
