On 4/5, Hoi An Tay Ward Police announced they are processing Truong Duy Thuc, 33, for property theft. Thuc has a history of previous convictions and offenses in the area.

On the afternoon of 2/5, a villa owner in An Bang residential area reported a break-in to a guest's room. Items stolen included an iPhone 15 Pro Max, an iPhone 16 Pro Max, a gold Pi Xiu bracelet, and 2 million dong in cash.

Hoi An Tay Ward Police, in coordination with Nui Thanh Commune Police, tracked and identified suspects. Investigations led authorities to a person in Tay Ho Ward who was found in possession of stolen property, which helped them identify the perpetrator.

By 8 a.m. on 3/5, police arrested Truong Duy Thuc, the alleged thief. He initially denied the crime but later confessed to the entire act when confronted with evidence.

All stolen items, including two phones, jewelry, and cash, have been recovered and will be returned to the victim. The investigation is ongoing.
