Le Hoang Thu, 22, residing in B'Lao ward, had an argument with his 18-year-old wife. She called a ride-hailing taxi, driven by a 26-year-old, to go to her mother's house. Thu then pursued her in his 7-seater car.

According to authorities, at 11:22 AM, as the taxi reached the Dai Binh intersection on National Highway 20, Thu overtook it and swerved to force it to stop in the middle of the road. He then used an iron bar to smash the taxi's windows on all sides. The incident caused panic among the driver, Thu's wife, and passersby.

Three minutes after receiving the report, B'Lao Ward Police arrived at the scene and apprehended Thu. He is currently detained for investigation into acts of destroying property and disturbing public order.
