Hung Yen Provincial Police have launched a manhunt for Ngo Duy Thang, 40, who is accused of fatally shooting his wife and another man from the same commune on 15/3 before fleeing the scene.

According to the police, around 3:20 PM today, Thang, a resident of Phu Thanh village, Dong Tien Hai commune, allegedly fired three shots at his wife, Ngo Thuy Linh, 31, causing her immediate death at the scene.

Thang then proceeded to Quy Duc Dong village, where he reportedly shot and killed Vu Van Ngoc at a general store. The suspect subsequently fled in an oto with license plate 30K13661.

Hung Yen Provincial Police reported the incident to the Ministry of Public Security, which has instructed police in neighboring provinces and cities to coordinate search efforts, establish alerts at toll booths, and apprehend the perpetrator.

Authorities describe Thang as reckless and violent.
