On 24/1, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police arrested 10 suspects, including 8 South Koreans, investigating their illegal possession and organization of drug use.
This operation comes as Ho Chi Minh City Police launched a peak period of crime suppression to ensure security and order during the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.

Previously, during the investigation into illegal drug trafficking networks, police tracked down and arrested numerous suspects.
Searching multiple locations, authorities seized over 300g of ketamine, over 1,000 ecstasy pills, and 63 packets of nuoc vui.
Further verification revealed police also discovered a South Korean national who was subject to an international arrest warrant.

Ho Chi Minh City Police are expanding their investigation and stated they will resolutely fight to prevent foreigners from exploiting their business or tourism visits to Vietnam for criminal purposes.
