Ky Hoa Commune Police are consolidating a case file against Bui Xuan Cuong, a 36-year-old resident of Xuan Tho village, after he livestreamed himself verbally abusing and threatening his mother. The incident occurred on the evening of 15/5, prompting an investigation by authorities.

Authorities noted that while the incident has not led to criminal charges, it has generated significant negative public sentiment, causing online outrage and impacting local security. Police urged the public to refrain from sharing the video to mitigate its negative effects on the online environment and the family involved.

On the evening of 15/5, Cuong used his personal Facebook account to livestream himself verbally abusing and insulting his mother. In the video, he used vulgar language and threatened violence against his parent, sparking widespread outrage.

After the livestream, Cuong left his home. When summoned by Ky Hoa Commune Police on 16/5, Cuong stated he could not control his actions due to prior alcohol consumption.

Quick test results confirmed Cuong tested negative for drugs.
