The operation followed a two-month special investigation. Through intelligence gathering, C04 discovered three karaoke bars in the former Dan Phuong district that were organizing and harboring illegal drug use: Quynh Trang, Mai Ve, and Q5 karaoke. These establishments had officially ceased business operations but continued to function covertly, secretly admitting customers for illicit drug use.
At 2:30 AM on 28/6, C04 coordinated with relevant units, mobilizing 300 officers to simultaneously inspect the three locations. During the raid, police found 91 people showing signs of illegal drug use or organizing drug use. Tests confirmed that 83 of these individuals were positive for drugs.
During the search, C04 seized three firearms, 25 rounds of ammunition, three cars, and other related documents. Police immediately recorded the arrests of suspects caught in the act and brought all individuals showing signs of violations for further investigation.
