Four days prior, the commune police received a tip from residents. They suspected a young man was impersonating an officer at a guesthouse, prompting officers to investigate and verify the report.

The individual, who stated he was from Phu My Commune, admitted to purchasing the lieutenant's uniform online. His intention was to take photos and post them on social media to 'impress his girlfriend'.
