Quang Tri prosecutes two teachers for high school exam regulation violations in 2026

Two teachers at Le Truc High School have been prosecuted for investigation into graduation exam-related violations at the school.

On 19/7, the Investigation Security Agency of Quang Tri Provincial Police announced its decision to initiate legal proceedings in a case of "abuse of position and power while on duty." The incident occurred at the Le Truc High School exam site in Tuyen Hoa commune during the 2026 national high school graduation exam.

Teachers Tran Duc Luc, 47, and Doan Thi Thanh Binh, 48, both from the school, have been prosecuted.

The investigation stems from social media posts on the evening of 9/7. These posts shared messages from an individual claiming to be a candidate at the Le Truc High School exam site, alleging that some invigilators and exam council members provided answers to candidates.

Following these allegations, Quang Tri established a special task force. This team was formed to advise the Exam Steering Committee on reviewing the entire invigilation process and results at the aforementioned exam site, aiming to detect any irregularities or fraud.

The case is currently under expanded investigation.

A few days prior, the head of the Le Truc High School exam site told VnExpress that all procedures were strictly followed. "The information appearing on social media is certainly untrue. The law will determine what is right or wrong," the official stated.
