Security guard kills colleague over dispute about parking customer's bikes

Security guard Duong Thanh Lap, 29, stabbed colleague to death after dispute over parking customer's bikes at a seafood restaurant.

On 21/11, police in Can Tho City temporarily detained Duong Thanh Lap, who resides in An Binh Ward, for investigation into his alleged murder.

Initial investigations revealed that Lap and an 18-year-old male colleague worked as security guards at a seafood restaurant on Tran Hoang Na Street, Tan An Ward. On the afternoon of 20/11, an argument about parking customer's bikes escalated. Lap allegedly stabbed his colleague multiple times, reportedly breaking the knife blade.

Lap was apprehended at the scene. The victim died the following morning.
