Can Tho Police reported that an inter-agency inspection team, spearheaded by the Department of Health and collaborating with relevant agencies, conducted a surprise inspection of Tue Minh International Dental facilities in Long My ward on 26/6.
During the inspection, these facilities failed to produce any operating licenses or legal documentation pertaining to medical examination and treatment services.
The individuals directly providing dental examinations, treatments, and technical procedures to patients possessed qualifications and certificates in fields such as nursing, medical laboratory technology, pharmacy, and e-commerce. None held a specialized dental, maxillofacial, and facial practice certificate, nor did they have valid employment contracts with the clinics.
Furthermore, the clinics could not provide invoices or documentation verifying the origin of the machinery, equipment, medications, and medical supplies used in their examination and treatment procedures.
The inspection team documented the violations and sealed all medical machinery and equipment for further processing in accordance with regulations.

Earlier, on 12/3, the Can Tho Department of Health had suspended operations for 12 months and issued fines totaling 518 million VND to four other Tue Minh International Dental clinics following the discovery of violations in medical examination and treatment.
These facilities, located in Cai Khe, Tan An, Vi Thanh, and Vinh Chau wards, all operated without valid licenses for medical examination and treatment. Specifically, the three clinics in Cai Khe, Vi Thanh, and Vinh Chau employed individuals who did not possess practice certificates.
The clinic in Tan An ward was specifically found to have assigned practitioners who were registered at multiple different medical examination and treatment facilities, resulting in total overtime hours that exceeded the limits stipulated by the Labor Code.

According to the Department of Health, subsequent post-penalty inspections revealed indications that the clinics were not adhering to the 12-month suspension order.
The Department had issued two written reminders on 31/3 and 9/4, yet the facilities continued their operations.
On 13/5, the Department of Health requested the People's Committees of Cai Khe, Tan An, Vi Thanh, and Vinh Chau wards to collaborate in monitoring compliance with the penalty decisions.

Tran Minh Luan, Vice Chairman of Vi Thanh Ward People's Committee, stated that during local authorities' monitoring efforts, the Tue Minh International Dental facility appeared to deliberately evade oversight and continued operations despite its suspension. Consequently, the ward People's Committee submitted a report on the situation to the Can Tho Department of Health for further guidance and action.
In response to these developments, a leader from the Can Tho Department of Health confirmed that the agency would coordinate with police forces to verify compliance with the penalty decisions for these facilities and determine subsequent enforcement measures.
