Social media figure 'Sang con' arrested

Cao Ngoc Sang, known as 'Sang con', 36, has been arrested on charges of illegal drug possession.

On 7/9, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (C04) announced it had coordinated with various units and local authorities to arrest Sang and five others on charges of illegal drug possession, organizing illegal drug use, and failing to report a crime.

All six individuals have been prosecuted by Hanoi Police for investigation within their jurisdiction.

Sang, originally from Thanh Hoa, is widely known on social media, boasting 200,000 followers on Facebook and 40,000 on TikTok. He regularly appeared in short videos, often with a tattooed appearance, depicting themes of gangster life, brotherhood, and life lessons.

Police have not yet released details of the violations and are continuing to expand and clarify the investigation.
