Nguyen Thi Thuy, 45 years old, residing in Doai village, Noi Bai commune, has been charged with disturbing public order. This follows an incident on 8/4 when Thuy allegedly resisted warnings about her illegal vending activities, disrupting public order at Noi Bai International Airport.
Hanoi Police announced on 24/4 that Thuy's actions met the criteria for disturbing public order, leading to her prosecution.
Thuy frequently sold goods along Vo Nguyen Giap street, specifically the section from K1 gate to the warehouse area, within Noi Bai International Airport. The Noi Bai International Airport Police Station had repeatedly warned her about these violations and requested her to sign commitments to comply with regulations.
On 8/4, Thuy's illegal vending was again discovered in the Noi Bai area. When a police task force arrived to address the situation, Thuy reportedly refused to comply. Instead, she shouted, damaged property, and discarded her items into the street.
