On the afternoon of 3/9, police in Ea Drang commune received a report of a murder on Nguyen Thi Dinh street, in Hamlet 10, Ea Drang commune.

The suspect was identified as Ma Kien La, who had been in a relationship and lived as husband and wife with the 30-year-old victim. The couple frequently had conflicts.

According to initial investigation, La sought out his lover this noon to talk and resolve their disputes. However, during their conversation, the argument escalated. La then used scissors to fatally stab his lover.

The victim's 15-year-old son, who attempted to intervene, was also stabbed and injured by La. Following the incident, the suspect surrendered to the police.

Authorities are currently investigating the murder.
