On 19/5, My Loc Commune Police announced they had detained Bach Cong Hau, a 16-year-old, for allegedly assaulting a 64-year-old woman and robbing her home in Loc Tien hamlet.

The incident occurred yesterday when the victim's son, monitoring via a security camera, observed his mother engaged in normal activities around 3 p.m. Nearly two hours later, upon returning home from work, he discovered his mother lying unconscious behind the house with head injuries. She was immediately taken to Cho Ray Hospital for emergency treatment. The family subsequently reported the theft of two motorbikes, a phone, and 300,000 VND in cash.
Following four hours of investigation, authorities identified Bach Cong Hau, residing in Phuoc Hung 2 hamlet, as the perpetrator.

Police have since recovered one motorbike and the stolen phone, which were evidence in the case, and are continuing to search for the remaining motorbike. The My Loc Commune People's Committee has praised and awarded the collective and 10 outstanding individuals for their swift resolution of the robbery.
