In the early morning of 13/7, residents of block 8, Loc Ninh ward, found Truong Thi Thiet and her daughter, Le Thi Thanh Thi, 36, unconscious on the floor with multiple injuries. They were rushed to the emergency room but later died.

Inside a bedroom, Le Quoc Cuong, 46, Thi’s boyfriend, was found dead with an electrical cord wrapped around him.

According to the victims' family, Cuong drove from Minh Hung to his girlfriend's house on the evening of 12/7 and had a meal with her family. After drinking, Thi's father and her older sister’s family went to bed, leaving Cuong with Thi and her mother.

Initially, authorities suspect that during a conversation, Cuong used a wood-splitting axe to attack Thi and her mother, Thiet, due to a relationship dispute, then entered the bedroom and committed suicide.

A Loc Ninh ward leader confirmed the incident and stated that Dong Nai Police are currently investigating.
