The 30-year-old owner of the "Cuong Tay" account, residing in Ban Chang village, Phuc Loi commune, was fined 12,5 million dong by Phuc Loi Commune Police today. The fine came after he posted a video on social media containing false information about the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Police determined the information shared in his video was baseless. This action damaged the reputation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and generated negative public sentiment.

At the police station, the young man admitted to making the statement, acknowledging he had no basis to verify its accuracy. He confirmed the information was false and slandered the organization's reputation. The Tiktoker subsequently removed the offensive content, issued an apology to the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the social media community, and pledged not to repeat the offense.
The "Cuong Tay" account has 1,7 million followers on Tiktok and typically features videos about daily life.
