Recently, minor traffic disputes escalating into violence have been on the rise. Investigators stated they will strictly handle acts of public disturbance and assault, emphasizing: "no forbidden zones or exceptions".
Four days prior, Ma Thanh, while driving a Bentley on Nguyen Trai street (district 1), collided with a 7-seater ride-hailing oto. After an argument, Thanh and his friend Ngo Duy Dong chased and assaulted a male passenger in the 7-seater vehicle. Consequently, Thanh and Dong were also temporarily detained on charges of public disorder.
Police advise citizens involved in traffic collisions to remain calm and cooperate in resolving disputes according to legal regulations. Citizens should absolutely avoid impulsiveness, aggressive behavior, or using weapons to settle conflicts to prevent regrettable legal consequences.
