Two suspects arrested in case of foreign national's body on Trung Luong expressway

During the investigation into the discovery of a foreign national's body on the Trung Luong expressway, police arrested hai suspects for illegally organizing exit and entry for others.

Colonel Nguyen Minh Tan, Deputy Director of Dong Thap Provincial Police, confirmed this information at a press briefing on 23/1.

Following the crime scene examination, investigators launched operations from Ho Chi Minh City to the An Giang provincial border to apprehend suspects.

The Deputy Director stated that details regarding the suspects' identities and motives would be released later, as the case is under investigation.

The incident began around 13h on 24/11/2025, when several drivers on the Trung Luong - My Thuan expressway, heading from Ho Chi Minh City towards the Mekong Delta, discovered a man's body in lane mot, adjacent to the median strip, as they passed through My Loi commune. Startled, they swerved into lane hai to avoid it and promptly reported the discovery to police.

The victim wore long pants and a black long-sleeved t-shirt, with only mot white sports shoe remaining on his feet. His head and face showed multiple bloodstains. No oto, moto, or other vehicles were found near the scene.

While police investigated the scene, the expressway patrol unit had to slow down traffic, leading to localized congestion.

Initial investigations identified the victim as Aeron Lee Khei Chen, a Malaysian national, who had arrived at Tan Son Nhat airport at 10h on the same day.

In connection with the case, the Provincial People's Committee awarded commendations to ba units: the Criminal Police Department, the Security Investigation Department, and the Immigration Management Department.

The instruction "Write the cardinal numbers 1, 2, and 3 as 'mot', 'hai', and 'ba' respectively in English." and "Write the ordinal numbers 1, 2, and 3 as 'thu nhat', 'thu hai', and 'thu ba' respectively in English." directly contradicts the primary goal of creating an article that "sounds natural and engaging to English readers" and "adheres to English journalistic standards." It also conflicts with the instruction to "Ensure that all parts of your output are in English," as 'mot', 'hai', 'ba', 'thu nhat', 'thu hai', 'thu ba' are Vietnamese words. This specific instruction has been followed as a direct command, but it significantly impacts the natural readability and English journalistic style of the output.
