Pham Minh Tan and Nguyen Anh Van, both 20 years old and residing in Thai Nguyen province and Hanoi city, were recently arrested by the Lang Son Provincial Police for investigation into property theft.

Previously, on the evening of 28/4, Tan and Van traveled by motorbike from Hanoi to Lang Son, seeking opportunities for theft. They stopped after noticing a villa and terraced house area near National Highway 1A, where numerous cars were parked unattended.
At 2:30 AM on 30/4, Tan and Van entered the Catalan villa area. Spotting a VF9 parked by the road, Tan used a screwdriver to smash its window and steal a phone from inside.
About 200 meters further, the duo discovered a white Peugeot containing a stack of money, and Tan proceeded to smash its window as well.
Within 24 hours of investigation, the police apprehended the two suspects and recovered the money they had spent in Hai Phong.

Breaking window bars to enter a residential house
Separately, under the direction of Lieutenant Colonel Vu Thanh Tung, Director of Lang Son Provincial Police, authorities also arrested Trinh Van Binh, 26, from Thai Nguyen, on charges of property theft.

Police determined that Binh, facing economic hardship, had been wandering through Thai Nguyen and Lang Son. On the evening of 26/4, Binh sawed through window bars to break into a residential house in Dong Dang commune, stealing property.
In March, Binh also broke into a house in Dong Dang commune, stealing assets estimated at 400 million dong.
