On 13/6, Quang Ninh provincial police indicted a 26-year-old woman, residing in Uong Bi ward, for organizing commercial surrogacy.

According to the investigation, the suspect utilized Facebook and TikTok to connect individuals seeking surrogacy or egg donation with those looking for surrogates. She then brokered agreements on costs and profited from these transactions. The woman also arranged accommodation and care for those participating in surrogacy or selling eggs throughout the process.

Investigators determined that she organized at least six cases of commercial egg donation and surrogacy, illegally profiting hundreds of millions of dong.

The suspect's name has not been released as the case is under expanded investigation to clarify the roles of all involved individuals.
