Using polearm knives to obstruct police during pursuit

A group of teenagers, pursued by police, sped away and threw polearm knives to obstruct officers during their escape.

On 3/7, Long Khanh Ward Police temporarily detained 16 individuals for investigation into alleged public disturbance and resisting public officers.

This group of teenagers had been seen revving motorbike engines and openly carrying weapons on Long Khanh Ward streets, alarming passersby.

Late the previous night, the group rode multiple motorbikes from Xuan Loc towards Long Khanh Ward. Some youths, riding pillion, brandished long knives, polearm knives, and machetes, forcing many pedestrians to avoid them.

Upon receiving reports, Long Khanh Ward Police deployed officers to apprehend the group. When spotting police on Thich Quang Duc street, the teenagers accelerated and fled. During the pursuit, some individuals threw polearm knives at the officers to obstruct their escape.

By this afternoon, through investigation, police identified and questioned 16 individuals involved. At the investigative agency, the group admitted their violations.
