Kun Marathon Quy Nhon 2026 will feature five engaging activity zones for children, offering a blend of sports and interactive experiences. These zones will be open throughout two days: 11/9 - the day children receive their race bibs, and 12/9 - the official race day. They are located at Nguyen Tat Thanh Square, Quy Nhon ward, Binh Dinh province.
These Kunlympic-themed activity zones, situated next to the 1 km race track, provide children with additional moments of playful activity during the event. The activities aim to offer children five energy sources: breakthrough, precision, teamwork, coordination, and nature. By participating, children also have the chance to receive gifts from the organizers.

The "Breakthrough Energy" basketball zone allows children to wear boxing gloves, stand on a trampoline, and jump high to shoot hoops. The court features both real and fake hoops, requiring children to observe before making a shot. Each round lasts about two minutes, training children's balance, hand-eye coordination, and judgment.
Adjacent to it, the pickleball zone helps children test their reflexes and develop precision energy. This game requires parental involvement, with parents throwing the ball for their child to hit rhythmically. When a child hits the target, a bell rings as encouragement. This challenge helps children practice observation and ball control.
The football zone also encourages parents to play with their children, helping them gather "teamwork" energy. Each team, consisting of one parent and one child, coordinates to move through obstacles before shooting the ball into the goal. Within a limited time, the two members must maintain rhythm, pass accurately, and choose the right moment to score.
After vigorous physical activities, the Multi-Sport zone offers children a change of pace with virtual reality technology. Children use VR headsets and controllers to engage in simulated basketball, pickleball, and football challenges. In a round lasting 3 minutes, children must constantly change movements, from throwing balls and swinging rackets to reacting to block shots. Experiencing multiple sports at one station helps children enhance their "coordination" energy.
Following the speed-focused challenges, Kun Farm, dubbed "Natural Energy," provides a gentler experience for the entire family. Parents and children don aprons and hats, transforming into farmers. Families participate in a five-step journey: sorting grass, transporting it by wheelbarrow to the cow rearing area, milking a model cow, putting milk into processing equipment, and transporting milk cartons via a 24-hour symbol pathway. This activity helps children visualize some steps in producing a Kun milk carton, from farm to product. Upon completing the challenge, children receive stickers, write messages, and take photos with their parents.
The organizers stated that the five play zones, each with different gameplay, aim to expand choices for families. Basketball or football are for children who enjoy speed. For those wanting to test reflexes, pickleball is a suggestion. Multi-Sport offers a new sensation with VR technology. Kun Farm dedicates more space to family bonding.

Following Kun Marathon tradition, the Quy Nhon race also invites numerous entertaining celebrities to interact with children at the stage area. Comedian Truong Giang continues his role as Papa Bu, and Thien Kim reprises her role as Tam Tuot in "Biet doi Kun sieu pham" (Kun Super Squad). Additionally, Kun Runners have the opportunity to meet content creators Do Kim Phuc and Duy Trung, known for artistic football; Tiktoker Tieu Ngao, popular for lively videos; and streamer/youtuber Phong Can, who specializes in gaming content.
Kun Marathon is a side event of the VnExpress Marathon race and part of the overall "Kunlympic with Kun: Daily Exercise" campaign. Kunlympic provides children with opportunities for enjoyable and creative physical activity in sports such as marathon, football, basketball, pickleball, badminton, and jump rope. Kunlympic aims to encourage children to actively participate in sports, improve physical fitness, and connect with others.
Kun Marathon Quy Nhon 2026 marks the 5th time the race has been held in this central coastal city. Previous editions attracted many parents and children.
