The initiative is part of the "Green Journey - Pink Smile" campaign, organized by the Laurier brand, a part of Kao Corporation, in collaboration with the Vietnam Youth Physicians' Association and the National Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The campaign provided examinations and reproductive health counseling to over 1,000 women in Dam Thuy commune, Cao Bang province. This reflects Kao Vietnam's commitment to sustainable development, aiming to care for and raise awareness about women's health in Vietnam, especially in areas with limited access to medical services.
At the campaign's closing ceremony on 23/1, a brand representative expressed gratitude to consumers and partners nationwide who supported the program and helped create its widespread impact. Each Laurier product purchased contributed 1,000 VND to a fund supporting women's healthcare in remote areas. The total sponsorship reached 617,449,000 VND, which was transferred to the Vietnam Youth Physicians' Association to implement mobile medical support activities.

At the Chi Vien medical station, doctors and medical staff provided free examinations, counseling, and medication to over 1,000 local women, also distributing over 4,800 Laurier sanitary pads. Many women accessed and received information about gynecological health for the first time.
A representative from the Chi Vien medical station stated that the demand for reproductive and gynecological healthcare in the area is very high, but the locality faces many limitations, such as inadequate facilities and inconvenient transportation. Residents also lack full awareness of the importance of regular gynecological check-ups. "Mobile health examinations provide practical benefits for people in highland and mountainous regions, helping them access medical services right in their locality", the representative said.

A representative from the Vietnam Youth Physicians' Association added that for the organizers, the program's greatest value lies in empowering women to take a more proactive role in their own healthcare. Beyond examinations, residents received proper counseling and began to prioritize health, rather than considering it an afterthought. "Most importantly, the program creates a shift in perception, helping women understand that healthcare is not a luxury, but a right and a responsibility to themselves", the doctor said.

Stemming from the idea of a 1,000 VND contribution with each Laurier sanitary pad purchase, the campaign generated widespread impact among consumers. The initiative also received support from a network of 36 retail partners with over 8,800 sales points nationwide, including systems like WinMart, WinMart+, Co.opmart, Aeon, Long Chau, and others.
With over 30 years of operation in Vietnam, Kao Vietnam and the Laurier brand stated they will continue to implement women's healthcare activities tailored to the specific needs of each locality. The company views this as integral to its development strategy, linking business operations with social value, while expanding access to healthcare services for women in underserved areas.
