Kun Marathon Hai Phong sells out in 30 minutes after registration opens

1,000 free spots for the Kun Marathon Hai Phong sold out within 30 minutes of registration opening on the afternoon of 12/12, reflecting the event's appeal to children aged 6-10.

The Kun Marathon Hai Phong 2025 opened registration at 3 PM on 12/12 via the VnExpress Marathon website, offering 1,000 spots for child athletes aged 6-10. According to the organizers, website traffic surged from the first minutes. "The number of waiting accounts on the system was many times higher than the target. The event selling out in half an hour reflects the high demand from families in Hai Phong," a representative of the organizing committee stated.

Hai Phong serves as the final stop for the Kun Marathon series this year. The event has already visited TP HCM, Hue, Ha Long, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Ha Noi, and Can Tho this year.

Thu Ha from Ha Noi shared that she had prepared all the necessary information and waited nearly 10 minutes before registration opened to sign up her two children. "Learning from last year, when I didn't manage to fill in the details in time, this year I prepared in advance. My children are very excited because they get to participate in Kun Marathon every year and combine it with a family trip to Hai Phong," she said.

Before the official registration period, the organizers awarded 900 running spots through a minigame held from 4/12 to 7/12. Parents participated by taking photos of their children with Kun milk products, sharing the message "Kun Tet small actions, big joy", and filling out the required information.

For families who missed the registration deadline, the organizers announced that bibs could still be obtained by exchanging 24 collection cards found in Kun milk packs at the event on 19/12.

The Kun Marathon Hai Phong 2025 is expected to attract approximately 2,000 children. On 19/12, parents and child athletes will go to the Children's Cultural Palace to collect their bibs and race-kits. The official race will take place on the morning of 20/12, as part of the VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong.

In addition to the race, children can participate in a series of games such as: "Kun Jelly Slide", "Powerful Race Track", "Super Kun Hands", and "Super Memory". This year, a "Kun Tet small actions, big joy" check-in area has been added for families to capture their shared experiences.
