TCP Vietnam inaugurates six community sports fields in 2025

TCP Vietnam continues to expand its "Youth Sports Space" project, inaugurating six more training locations in 2025, contributing to improving public health.

TCP Vietnam is expanding its "Youth Sports Space" project, inaugurating six new community sports facilities in 2025. This initiative aims to provide accessible venues for physical activity, promoting health and well-being among young people and local residents across the country. The expansion brings the total number of renovated sports venues to 15 nationwide since the project's launch in 2024.

In modern society, increasing academic and work pressures highlight a need for physical activity and balance among youth. Research consistently shows that regular exercise improves physical health, supports mental well-being, enhances concentration, and fosters a positive lifestyle. A 2023 study of over 2,200 university students found that those who jogged for 16-25 minutes once a week exhibited significantly higher academic performance than their less active peers. Despite these benefits, access to sports facilities remains uneven, particularly in densely populated urban, suburban, and rural areas.

Recognizing this disparity, TCP Vietnam launched the "Youth Sports Space" project in 2024. The initiative focuses on renovating and building community sports hubs, making physical activity more accessible for young people. The six new facilities for 2025 are designed to adapt to local conditions, offering diverse options: football fields, volleyball courts, pickleball courts, outdoor exercise areas, running tracks, and community gathering spaces. These venues cater to various age groups and needs.

In 2025 alone, approximately 12,000 young people and local residents regularly utilized the sports spaces developed through the project, according to organizer statistics. After two years, the program stands as an effective model for socializing grassroots sports infrastructure, fostering active habits and strengthening community bonds.

Nguyen Quang Hien Huy, General Director of TCP Vietnam, outlined the project's vision to provide Vietnamese youth with accessible, safe, and sustainable sports training spaces. "TCP Vietnam believes sports not only promote health but also offer an environment for individuals to discover motivation, build character, and pursue their aspirations," he stated. "We are committed to continuing our support for Vietnamese youth on this journey of comprehensive development."

Footballer Nguyen Tien Linh, an ambassador for the program, remarked that each new sports field is more than just a physical structure. It provides young people with opportunities to exercise, connect, and foster teamwork. He noted that these spaces integrate sports more closely into the daily lives of youth.

The "Youth Sports Space" project is fostering a sustainable active ecosystem within communities. It encourages young people to prioritize their health and embrace a more positive and balanced lifestyle in modern society.
