Toshiba refrigerator's specialized food preservation technology tailored to individual food types

The Toshiba Japandi GR-RF695WI-PGV(67) refrigerator applies specialized preservation technology with multiple temperature levels, suitable for each food type, helping to maintain complete freshness.

The Japandi GR-RF695WI-PGV(67) refrigerator features an originfresh system, designed to keep food fresh for longer. Its minimalist and elegant Japandi design seamlessly blends with modern kitchen spaces.

Specifically, the originfresh system on the Toshiba Japandi refrigerator offers three temperature zones, meeting diverse food preservation needs. The cooling zone, located in the fresh food compartment, can be flexibly adjusted between -1 degrees Celsius and -3 degrees Celsius, ideal for preserving fresh meat and fish. A deep freezer set at -30 degrees Celsius, located in the freezer compartment, is designed for premium, nutrient-rich foods such as wagyu beef and high-grade seafood.

At -1 degrees Celsius pro age, the cooling zone creates a cool, humid, and sterilized environment, enhancing the flavor, texture, and nutritional value of meat and fish. The origin fresh technology aids in converting enzymes that transform proteins, lipids, and glycogen into sugars and fats, helping to maintain the tenderness of fresh meat and fish.

The -3 degrees Celsius soft freezing compartment preserves fresh meat and fish for up to 7 days without requiring defrosting. Food retains its fibrous structure and natural elasticity, allowing users to easily cut, marinate, and prepare it, while minimizing nutrient loss. The stable temperature also limits bacterial growth and oxidation, preventing food from becoming dry or hard.

For foods requiring longer preservation, the -30 degrees Celsius deep freezer helps form small, fine ice crystals, thereby preserving color, structure, and flavor after defrosting. This temperature level is commonly used by professional restaurants to maintain the freshness and nutritional value of seasonal ingredients without preservatives or salt. Toshiba has integrated this deep freezing technology into its home refrigerators, providing users with access to premium preservation standards. Foods like wagyu beef and seafood can retain their tenderness and natural taste.

Toshiba also equips the refrigerator with a hydro fresh compartment specifically for fruits and vegetables. Cold air is directed through a special filter, creating ultra-fine mist particles that permeate the food, which then form larger water droplets to maintain uniform humidity throughout the compartment. As a result, fruits and vegetables stay fresh for up to 7 days, with a humidity difference of approximately 3-4%, reducing wilting.

The Toshiba refrigerator also includes an automatic ice-making function that produces ice in 60 minutes. This function operates independently of other compartments to ensure pure, odor-free ice, meeting the demand for quick beverage preparation.

Additionally, the air inside the refrigerator is continuously purified by pure air technology, which uses an activated carbon filter combined with silver ions to eliminate unpleasant odors from onions, fish, or strong-smelling foods. It also kills up to 99.9% of harmful bacteria. This system operates continuously and automatically, maintaining a fresh environment and preventing odor cross-contamination between compartments.

According to a Toshiba Vietnam representative, the Japandi line was developed to meet the growing demand for healthy and convenient lifestyles among urban consumers. "We aim to provide not just a large-capacity refrigerator, but also an appliance that supports users in maintaining nutrition and a modern lifestyle. The three specialized temperature zones of originfresh ensure food is always at its freshest, adhering to Japanese culinary standards," the brand representative shared.
