Long Chau family festival creates a space for intergenerational bonding

The Long Chau family festival 2026 aims to create shared time for three generations through gentle physical activity, healthcare, and outdoor bonding experiences.

Modern urban life increasingly limits time for three-generation families to fully connect. Work pressures, electronic devices, and generational schedule differences reduce frequent gatherings.

In many families, grandparents desire someone to confide in and share experiences with. Parents wish to strengthen family bonds but find it challenging to arrange shared activities. Children, while having numerous modern forms of entertainment, often miss moments of being heard, sharing, and understanding with their grandparents and parents.

This reality highlights that physical activities for three-generation families are not just about health, but also serve as an emotional bridge. Such activities encourage generations to slow down, spend more time together, converse, share, and foster strong family connections.

Understanding these family desires, the Long Chau family festival was established. Beyond physical activity, the event creates a space for family generations to slow down, dedicate time to each other, connect emotionally, and share.

According to an organizing committee representative, through activities suitable for grandparents, parents, and children, the Long Chau family festival aims to provide shared experiences with the goal: "Every step is one instance of companionship, every smile is one instance of understanding." The representative stated, "From this, health is not only built through activity, but also nurtured by connection, love, and mutual appreciation in every moment."

The Long Chau family festival 2026 will be held on 10-11/1/2026 at 2/4 Square, Nha Trang. The event does not emphasize achievement or speed, but rather aims for gentle physical activity suitable for each participant's condition.

In addition to physical activity, the festival is designed as a comprehensive experience space, combining entertainment, interaction, and family bonding. At the main stage area, appearances by artists Truong Giang, musician Khac Viet's family, and tiktoker Angel will add a lively highlight to the event.

Family bonding is central to the festival. By participating in a shared journey, members have the opportunity to temporarily step away from electronic devices and daily work to focus on each other. The sight of grandparents, parents, and children wearing event shirts and moving along the same path creates a rare shared experience in daily life.

Comprehensive healthcare activities for the entire family available at the event space also contribute to participants' peace of mind. Consultations and check-ups by specialist doctors within the event framework help families, particularly those with elderly members, feel more secure when engaging in group physical activities.

The organizing committee also focuses on preserving memories for each family. A team of photographers will follow participants throughout the journey, and photo zones will be arranged to capture shared moments, creating keepsake photos for the entire family.

Along the route, light physical games and interactive activities are interspersed, helping maintain a relaxed atmosphere and increasing connection among members. Each participating family receives a race-kit for its members, including: activity shirts, completion medals, and health gifts tailored to each age group. For families with members over 50, the event includes additional gifts to support relaxation, nutrition, and joint care.
